unfortunately, I can only edit comments in topics that I started.

There’s a way to do it ‘on-site’ but for some reason those clever folk at WordPress have cunningly disguised it.

The edit box in the cafe has a row of buttons along the top. If you want to strikethrough a word – highlight the word, then press the ‘Delete’ button on the edit menu bar (this inserts a load of code before and after the word you want to strikethrough.

P.S. If you are writing a Post then the Menubar is always visible on the edit box. If you are writing a comment, however, you have to write your comment, submit it, then go in afterwards and edit it in order to see the menubar with the ‘del’ button on it

In answer to your teccy issue.

I don’t think you can strikethrough in the editing box on the site. Try writing your post in the dreaded microsft word (or a better editor if you have one to hand), and then cut&paste into the text box here.

I’m unlucky enough to be using MS office ’07 and the strikethrough option in Word can be found by expanding the ‘fonts’ section on the ‘home’ tab.
