Well I had to get it in somewhere!

The problem is there are too few parking spaces to accommodate the number of people with cars. Coupled with the fact that ‘Office’ folk start and finish 1/2hr after the shop floor, this spells trouble. Since all available ‘official’ parking spaces are ‘taken’ by the time they arrive for work, ‘office’ workers park in whatever space they can find. Result? Come 16.00 hr, none of the shop floor can get off the premises because they are blocked in by the ‘office’ workers cars.

The routine is that around 15.55 hr, the office folk move their cars out on to the street to ‘release’ the shop floor cars. If anyone forgets the time, they are soon reminded of it, and the need to move their car, by a cacophony of car horns at 16.01 hr insistently demanding they move their f*ckin’ car !

You gotta go over the border to the States for one of those. And if you go to the southern States driving a vee-Hi-cle that’s wearing Canadian license plates, you’ll find out soon enough.
