Internet rumours are reporting a cure for the ‘super bug’ CDiff, it’s simple, cheap and effective, but some doctors are turning their noses up at it because its too messy.
The procedure is called a ‘Faecal transplant’, and involves a donation of poo from a close relative of the patient. This is mixed with normal saline and administered as an enema.
