Leicestershire Constabulary in central England, which has 130 positions available, is hoping to fill them by attracting ex-pat officers in Australia.
An advertising campaign to be launched in Australia next week entitled ‘Homesick and Away‘ will attempt to lure officers back to UK by reminding them of what they are missing, e.g., Sunday Roast, English cup of tea, Cadbury’s chocolate, real ale, M & S underwear . . .
Hhmm, sunday roast, tea, chocolate . . . what would lure you back to the UK ?
