A western Pennsylvania mother has been charged with giving her 13-year-old daughter drugs and alcohol so the woman’s boyfriend could get the girl pregnant.

Wanting to have a baby with her boyfriend, Duane Calloway, but no longer able to do so herself, 32yr old Shana Brown is alleged to have drugged her daughter so that Calloway could impregnate her.

The girl told police that in December her mother suggested she allow Calloway to impregnate her.

Following her rejection of that proposal, the girl claims that on one occasion her mother spiked her coke with rum causing her to pass out. When she awoke, she was partially undressed and Calloway was in the room.

On another occasion, she claims her mother forced her to drink tea laced with barbiturate to make her feel drowsy and enable Calloway to make a move on her.

When police searched the house they found police an empty rum bottle, Tylenol PM and a pill crusher.

Calloway has been charged with attempted rape and Brown with endangering the welfare of a child.

  1. Mum drugs daughter so she can get some sleep, I could understand. But this is bang out of order. We don’t even do that kind of stuff in Norfolk, and incest is the law here.

    • Pretty shocking tale – if true !

However, not unknown for teenagers to make malicious accusations against a parent, esp when another adult enters the equation.

The case seems to boil down to an accusation by a young girl against 2 adults – who one supposes will deny there is any substance to her complaint.

Whatever the truth of the matter – this is a seriously disturbed family !!!

  2. I side with the child’s version of this … insane adults pull the “no one will believe what you say,” and the world is catching on to this rather quickly.
