i like the quote – it reminded me of something that happened a long long time ago…..
i was visiting a friend in london and we were giggling our way around in trendy student attire of the time – dungerees and odd shoes
we decided to take in a matinee and noticed a show starring (can’t remember) but a well known very funny comedian. Perfect for an afternoon after a liquid lunch we think.so we buy our restricted view tickets and sneak in (those were the days when people dresses for the theatre
) only to find that this rip roaring commedy was in fact an excrutuatingly boring monolog about adoph hitler – and so serious that even a slight titter would get you thrown out
oh to be young an deliquent again!!
ps nobbly – i don’t care if its spelt wrong!!! :raz:

I’ve got no patience to sit through something if I’m not enjoying it.
I’ve walked out of many ‘plays’ put on during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Tip – if visiting the festival, avoid any Russian/Scandanavian ‘dramas’ performed by University drama students !!!
P.S. ignore the ‘reviews’ about what a ‘fantastic’ etc interpretation/performance it is on the publicity handouts. The bastards write those themselves !!!

I can never sit still long enough to watch a play or a movie
