The pace of life is much slower in the Scottish islands than it is in the Mainland.
Nowhere more so than in Unst, one of the Shetland isles to the north of Scotland.
Whereas, folk in the Mainland are rushing here there and everywhere, working to a busy schedule and getting frustrated by late arrival of buses and trains, on Unst they don’t complain much if the bus is late.
Mind you that may be something to do with the bus stop. To while away the time waiting for the bus, locals have fitted the bustop with comfy seats, TV, bar, and microwave.
