  1. How can anyone smile at this dreadful hour of the day FFS?

  2. Morning Dave

Isn’t it good to be alive ?

  3. Ah, the existentialist rational philosophy answer!

Of course it is, and today is our 13th wedding anniversary so even more so. I was just hoping the day would start a little later with tea in bed not at the laptop!

  4. Congratulations Dave.

Hope you and Hazel have a great Day !!!

P.S. You’re not up so early on your laptop because you forgot are you? And are now frantically trying to order flowers/gifts online before Hazel wakes up ?

  5. No siree, card in drawer and treat is booked.

(Drive to Nantwich to our favourite butcher to collect huge steaks for dinner tonight, and a drop or two of vino collapso!)

  6. Hope you’re not expecting Hazel to cook those steaks !!!

  7. ‘Er wouldn’t let me do otherwise; I tend to cremate the poor things!

I shall arrange table etc, and keep the C2H5OH flowing.

  8. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY DAVE & HAZEL! HOPE YOU HAVE A MARVELLOUS ONE

    It’s Frrrrrrrrriday ……

  9. Good morning people.

How the hell are we all today?

  10. We’em very fine thanks nobbly, and your goodself and tribe?

  11. Not bad, thanks mate…not bad.

Although I’m a bit knackered today after a particularly energetic bout of badminton last night, in which I lost a game!

It’s unheard of… I always bloody win. I just don’t know what was up with me. The lad I play against is 30 years younger than me, and middle aged cunning and a lifetime of mastering sneaky drop shots has always had the edge over youthful athleticism.

    But not last night!

  12. Aw fugit!

… was pretty much my comment last night.

  13. Just Plain FUGGIT ….

I wish it were hometime already ….

  14. DUNCAN …… COOOOOOEEEEEEEE ….. IT’S UP

  15. HOT OFF THE PRESS

Lynn has let me know that Rip’s chest tumours are infection, as part of emphysema, nothing worse esp not the BigC.

Good news folks. Rip will still need quite a bit of treatment but not of a nasty.

    Best to them both.

  16. hi Duncan, Nobbly and Julie et al how are things? I am late as usual, what have I missed?

  17. Hi Torri

Nice to hear from you – it’s been a while !

What have you missed? Well, you missed our 1st year birthday celebrations last Friday 11th Sep.

Not only was it a year since we started this blog, we also chalked up our 1/4 millionth site visit last Friday !!!

What about you? What have you been up to? You and ‘tractor man’ still an item?
