43 yr old Peter Hale thought his luck was in when his wife suggested he take some Horny Goat Weed and go down to the woods with her for a bit of a rut. Once there, however, the opportunity to test the potency of the HGW was lost as events took an unexpected (to him ) turn.
Having fitted a hood over his head, his wife straddled him as he lay face down in the ground then slit his throat and stabbed him in the neck and back. Luckily for Mr Hale a passing motorist caught the scene in his headlights before Ms Hale could strike a killing blow. She fled the scene but was later arrested by the police.
Ms Hale has been charged with ‘attempted murder and wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm – charges she denies
