A 25yr old student in Leicester was walking along the street – minding his own business, and eating a hamburger.
He was approached by two drunks. One grabbed the burger from him and took a bite out of it. The other punched him in the face, knocking him to the ground.
The police decided not to charge the man who threw the punch but to prosecute the man who nicked the burger.
Yesterday, 18yr old William Smithers was sentenced to 8 months in jail for taking a bite out of the burger while his mate who threw the punch escaped with a caution.
Remind me – who said ‘the law is an ass‘ ?

Years ago I was working on a commercial with these two clowns, one a lighting guy, the other a grip. When we went to the deli for lunch and there was this one sugared bun left. They both went to grab it but the lighting guy was too fast and laughed at the cameraman as he clutched the bun. So the cameraman spat on the bun and said “Huh, now its mine” and the lighting guy looked at him in horror before he spat on it too and said” Huh, now nobody has it”. Next thing the deli owner says “Huh, you will be both paying for it!”. True story
