It’s quite a rare condition. Basically it means a woman is allergic to sperm. Which is a bit of a bummer really. Kinda takes the pleasure out of sex (for the woman anyway)
An American couple found out she was allergic to his sperm on their honeymoon (they’d used condoms before getting wed)
“I knew something was not right because I was in a lot of pain”, said Julie Boyde.
“The pain that I was feeling was inside, like somebody sticking needles up inside of me like a real painful burning. It was really scary“
Sometimes the pain would last for weeks after she and husband Mike had sex.
In essence, Julie’s body regards Mike’s sperm as an intruder and mobilises it’s defences to attack and kill it.
If they want to have children, therefore, they will have to adopt.
