A man who left his £30,000 Vauxhall Monaro car at a garage to have a leaky radiator checked out returned to find 1/4 tank of petrol missing from the tank.
When challenged, the mechanics denied taking his car out for a joyride.
Unluckily for them, the owner had installed a Roadhawk black-box recorder in his car and so had a video record of their journey showing the route and speeds (up to 125 mph) they had driven the car at.
West Mercia police are now investigating the incident.
