Don’t be fooled folks.
It may look like a harmless baby carriage but strollers like this are dangerous.
Especially if they were made in China for MacLaren !!!
Apparently there have been 12 reported cases in the USA of tiny tots having their fingertips amputated after they stuck their fingers in the hinge mechanism when the stroller was being opened or closed.
(that’ll learn them not to do that again!!!)
Now McLaren is recalling an estimated 1 million strollers sold in USA in last 10 years.
Apparently they are offering consumers a ‘free repair kit.’ – I assume that refers to the stroller and not the tots’ fingertips ?
P.S. so far only american kids seem to be dumb enough to stick their fingers in the hinge mechanism
