Clear skies, friggin damn hot and humid STILL (even though it’s almost 8 at night) …. no sign of any killer storms yet …..

I must say, I’ve learnt something new. I never realised that the host nation were the ones that picked who sings the opposing team’s national anthem!

As for THAT singing of the national anthem, well … I could take up this entire page with what I think of it!

If it was a ‘tactical’ move on the part of those frogs, well then they certainly succeeded … I wont take anything away from their game, because they played brilliantly, and we lost to a better team. BUT FFS FROGGIES …. please get someone who can damnwell sing our national anthem!

Granted, I’m not a very good singer of our own national anthem (I never sing it anyway) …. I only know the Afrikaans words, and some of the English ones. Let me just point out that by the time this stoned dude got to the Afrikaans words, he didn’t have one of them in tune, pronounced properly and put his own words in certain places ….. no wonder Schalkie looked like he wanted to deck him!
