Brewdog, a small brewery in the north of Scotland was in the headlines a few months ago – branded ‘irresponsible’ by health campaignors for creating a super-strong beer called ‘Tokyo’ with an ABV of 18%
[Got to love the guys at Brewdog. In response to all the criticism, they made a piss-poor beer with an ABV of just 1.1% and called it 'Nanny State']
They have now created an even stronger beer with an ABV of 32% – which they warn is so strong it should be drunk in small measures, like a spirit. Called ‘Tactical Nuclear Penguin’, they have released a vid showing the brewing process from inception to fruition.
The beer, which is almost as strong as whisky, does not come cheep. Only a limited batch has been produced and the selling price will be around £30 a bottle
