  1. It’s about time you finally woke up… I’m going to bed now… Good night Duncan and Loon. It was me who farted…

  2. May the force field energise my brain, now please…

    • Perhaps Darth could help?

      • All offers welcome, even the quick slap routine.

Any update on the casualty list?

      • In that case ….. *incoming slap from Mighty Mouse …. *

      • Casualty List :

MudBaby – no more temperature (had one yesterday morning, but disappeared quickly), but huge golf ball type lump under chin right next to jaw bone – at first was soft to touch, but when I felt it this morning, felt like a brick. He says it is not painful, but appointment with doc for Monday morning. (I’m a bit worried about what it actually is!).

Jessie – condition is stable, but in incredible pain.

  3. Re, Mudbaby. If lump goes down before Monday, still keep appointment for a checkup. Odds still on VURTI of some sort in which case the lumps may go up and down in different places as it works its way through system. Just done a quick trawl of the medliterature and ‘catscratch disease’ came up for air. Has mudbaby had any aggro from the new moggy?

Re, Jessie. Has she had the brain CT scan yet?

    • Yip, he did get a scratch or two from newest inmate. He’s also always cutting or scratching himself on something! Chemist lady did say to me yesterday that this could be the cause of it – an infection inside the system due to a cut. But will def take him to have it checked out.

They have not yet managed to do brain scan on Jessie yet – she is extremely aggro at the moment (chased her mom away yesterday – although this doesn’t surprise me, as she doesn’t have much time for mommy dearest anyway). Dawn spoke to the head nurse a little while ago, and she says she’s becoming very worried because Jessie is chasing the nurses away, and is totally aggressive towards anyone who goes near her. She’s threatened to walk out of the hospital (although I dont know how she plans on doing this as she cant even lift her head up!). She’s still very confused, and most of the time is just mumbling a whole lot of nonsense!

      • The lack of a brain scan will not help the staff to know what damage has been caused inside Jessie. Such outbursts as you describe can just be part of a generalised concusion that will slowly settle, but could also reflect localised brain damage to the frontal and/or temporal lobes of brain. Could even be a ‘simple’ thing such as a subdural-blood clot pressing on the brain. In britland serious thought would be given to using a quick acting short duration injected sedative to get the lass into the scanner and find out.

      • Yes, that’s what I’ve been nagging Dawn to speak to the doctors about. Problem is …. Jessie is in a government hospital as she has no medical aid …. our government hospitals are not known for their efficiency!
