Honestly. I kid you not. It snow joke. The reason Eurostar trains, one after the other ground to a halt over the weekend leaving 2,000 people stuck in the Channel Tunnel and 50-60,000 intended travellers stranded in France and UK is because the wrong sort of snow fell.
According to Eurostar commercial director Nick Mercer the snow – “was ‘fluffier’ than normal”

There you are then. It was fluffy snow wot did it. Now if only it had been the sort of snow that falls in Canada and USA each winter we’d have been all right !!!
