Baroness Blair ?

by duncanr

Apparently there are moves afoot to have Cherie Blair elevated to the House of Lords.

While her supporters are hoping to persuade Gordon Brown to make her a Baroness in the Resignation Honours List, a spokesperson for Mrs Blair said -

‘It is not something that she is looking for nor expecting.’

While Gordon Brown has not commented on the speculation, the idea is not popular with readers of the Daily Mail -as of 7am this morning, an online poll showed 95% of those who voted were against the idea

P.S. Guess which way I voted – twice!!!

  1. An interesting distractor from the reality of current politication in britland. I note that the spokesperson did not say the CB would refuse same?

Would it automatically make her hubby, the shitface Tony Bliar, into a Baron by default?

  2. So what does becoming a baroness mean? Does she get discounts at the locals?

  3. The woman is a bloody disgrace.

As revealed recently, having been forcibly moved on from milking her position as PM’s wife, she’s now abusing her power as a judge to push a pro-religious agenda.

But to return to my favourite sport of Daily Wail bashing for a minute….

I bet if they held an online poll asking for the return of the Evil Thatcher as PM, they’d get a return of 100% in favour, such is the political hue of their readership.

  4. Coming at the same time as her blatant religious discrimination it makes me wonder just what values the ‘decision makers’ hold. She deserves to be slapped down, not elevated.

    Poll now 96% No.
