Dr John Alroy, a palaeobiologist at Macquarie University in Australia – and a right cheery bugger – has published a paper in Science to say we’re doomed.
The Earth has gone through three mass extinctions in it’s history. Having studied the evidence, Dr Alroy believes we are currently goring through a new mass extinction event that will be worse than any previous ones
