An OAP is recovering after an operation to re-attach her severed toes
The pensioner was in bed at home when a pack of wild dogs crept into her bedroom. In the frenzied attack that followed, several toes were severed from her right foot
Fortunately, another resident in the house was able to shoo the attackers off.
Yesterday, in a delicate operation, surgeons successfully managed to reattach the toes to the foot.
A hospital spokesperson said later that the prognosis for recovery was good, though she would always walk with a limp
