Man on Trial for Robbery Robs Jewelry Store when Court breaks for Lunch

by duncanr

I guess Mark Burgin is what might be called a ‘career criminal’ – on trial in Tennessee for robbery, when the court adjourned for lunch the cheeky bugger nipped out and robbed a nearby jewelry store of goods worth $45,000

Not a very bright criminal, however, as -

the robbery was common knowledge around the courthouse

Police waited until the judge had sentenced him for the 1st robbery, then arrested him for the 2nd
