Partly to kill or capture Osama Bin Laden and to drive the Taliban from power
Well it took 10 years but bin Laden has been executed
The Taliban, however, have hardly been vanquished. True, with the help of the Northern Alliance, they were removed from power but they have not been defeated and are merely . . .
