Money for Nothing

by duncanr

In these hard economic times when money is tight and folk are struggling to pay their bills, one would think they would jump at the chance of a bargain

Not so! – in the UK at least

In this social experiment, a company had attractive women stand at 5 busy bus stations across the UK with a billboard offering to pay anyone’s bus fare. Of the tens of thousands of commuters that passed them, only a tiny minority (average of 8 people at each station) took up the offer

Seems most of us Brits are a cynical bunch too suspicious of a catch somewhere to accept free cash from a stranger !
