London is getting set to stage the Olympic Games later this year
While much media attention will be focussed on these games, the “Punjabi Olympics” (aka Kila Raipur Sports) deserve wider publicity.
Held each February since 1933 in the village of Kila Raipur, the games feature some events missing from the London Olympics, e.g., plough in the mouth balancing, pulling a car with your teeth, riding two horses at once, and . . . wait for it!
