   I think you’ve missed something there, duncan – the iron is an enabling technology, perhaps somewhat blunt in its application, but very persuasive. Every girl should keep one handy.

   Hilarious!

   Seriously though, NOW has one thing in common with the NAACP–it has outlived its initial purpose. NOW members no longer want equality for women, but superiority; just as NAACP members no longer want equality for Black Americans, but superiority. And both of these groups are getting just that. The United States is as unjust as it’s ever been–only the victims are different. Laugh all you want, but regardless of what the American mass media tells you, White American men are more often treated unfairly now–through reverse-discrimination. There is no justice in a society which goes from one extreme of oppression to another. I am not a masculinist, but a humanist. I am not a racist, but a humanist. Until there is true equality for both sexes and all races, my American homeland (by birth, not by choice) will remain unjust.

   Here’s just a sample to illustrate my point, taken from the above NOW statement: “…end all forms of violence against women”. This statement clearly indicates female sexism–insinuating that violence against women is worse than violence against men (i.e. that women have more value than men). I’ll also add that a large percentage of strong, independent American women are opposed to NOW because it has outlived it’s initial purpose. For example, many American women (perhaps even most) are opposed to unnecessary abortion, just as I am.

     Race: Black males continue to be incarcerated at an extraordinary rate. Black males make up 35.4 percent of the jail and prison population — even though they make up less than 10 percent of the overall U.S population. Four percent of U.S. black males were in jail or prison last year, compared to 1.7 percent of Hispanic males and .7 percent of white males. In other words, black males were locked up at almost six times the rate of their white counterparts.

   Stickybud, I respect your opinion. And those statistics are accurate. But the reason so many Black men are incarcerated in the United States is that most of the felonious crime is committed by Black men. Does this mean most Black people are criminals? No. But the majority of felonious crime in the United States is committed by Black Americans. I know that’s not politically correct, but it’s the truth. And truth is more important than political correctness.
