I don’t think I’ve ever seen a cat swimming. After seeing the sandbags at the end though, I have to wonder if the poor thing was swimming for its life!?!? LOL

You may have heard this before, but just in case:
It is said that once, when Zsa Zsa Gabor appeared on “The Tonight Show”, she brought her cat along, and held it in her lap. At one point Zsa Zsa asked Johnny Carson, “Would you like to pet my pussy?”
Johnny replied, “Sure, if you’ll get that damned cat out of the way!”
Now Johnny Carson denied this story to his death, and I believe him. But I’ll bet he wished he had said that!

I once saw a kitten swim across a village pond. It went in voluntarily, and seemed quite happy. I reckon some rare cats have a swimming gene.

There’s a breed of cat, the Turkish Van Cat, that’s well known for liking water and swimming…… seriously – look it up.
MrsN has always wanted one, but being pedigree moggies , they’re bloody expensive, so we stick to rescued cats from the local mad cat woman.
I did once suggest getting an Escort van, but she wasn’t very impressed with the idea.

Great video, our cat once accidently jumped into the bath tub while it was filling with water. He just stood there the water wasn’t very warm. I think he was surprised and just walked around the tub it was strange to see that he didn’t just jump out it took him awhile I think we did tape it.
