I’m keeping my head down. (Not difficult when you’re my height, I know).
To be honest, I didn’t expect great things from the tour of South Africa, other than to let new regime settle in and mature a bit. The ‘boks are a bloody good team anywhere, but at home, they’re a tough prospect, and I’m pleased that England didn’t get absolutely flattened. Mr Lancaster needs some time to get on with his job, and a bad tour would have had the press vultures circling.
