Now here’s an idea my local Tesco might do well to copy !
A supermarket on the German-Danish border was stormed by a horde of naked shoppers on Saturday after offering free groceries to the value of €270 to the first hundred punters willing to get their kit off (see http://tinyurl.com/cqfzmgy)
It’s quite innocent, when you think about it–though it would never happen in the U.S. This country has always had such an irrational aversion to public nudity!
It would certainly cut down on the amount of stuff being shoplifted.
Depending on its size and shape, of course…
Keep them away from the candy section!!!
….and the nutcrackers.
I reckon they’re infringing food hygiene laws.
Paragraph IV(a, subsection 12, Section 17 of The Goods And Services Act (Sale of Food to the Public) 2004: EC amendment 137 states:
No nudity is allowed, under EC law, in any food sales outlet, by way of sales promotion. Unless you’re desperate for business, and everybody’s feeling the pinch, that is.
