In our conceit, we like to think that we are superior to other animals because of our higher intelligence. That we are deluding ourselves in this regard is evidenced by this clip showing a primate at a Welsh Zoo trying to convey to a naked primate of inferior intellect – through sign language – that he would very much appreciate it if the human would pass him some of those very nice biscuits on the other side of the glass, only to have the chump misconstrue his signs as a request to help him escape
