A foreign trophy hunter shot and injured a leopard late yesterday afternoon at a game farm near Polokwane (South Africa).
On Sunday two Albatross aeroplanes carrying 13 people back from an airshow crashed into a cliff just outside Tzaneen. On board these two aircraft were 13 people, including 3 children aged just 7, 10 and 14.
What can be said when a tragedy happens like what happened in Norway? I have no words to describe the shock and horror I felt when I first read about it last night. I will admit that the tears flow freely every time I read an article on the massacre – I simply cannot believe it! The photos of the King and Queen of Norway sobbing at the memorial service are absolutely heartbreaking, as are the photos of those who survived – they will never be the same again.
Strikes over here are becoming more and more frequent. Our constitution grants the right to ‘peaceful strikes’ … someone is seriously misunderstanding the word ‘peaceful’!!!
If you EVER happen to buy a house with a flatlet, take my advice : NEVER, EVER RENT IT OUT!!
