Police in the Southern China Yangjiang, Guangdong province reckon the chances of catching motorists who break the speed limit is almost zero.
The problem is that more than 1/2 the drivers, it is estimated, either cover their number plates or use false ones.
Modern technology makes the latter option particularly easy to do. For a little over $100 dollars drivers can buy a remote control device that changes the number plate displayed on their car in less than 3 seconds

When a 13yr old girl found a medical report in her mother’s handbag saying her father had liver cancer and had only 3 months to live, she attempted to kill herself so that her liver could be given to her dad.
Chen Jin took an overdose of sleeping tablets and left a note for her mother –
“Mum, I’m sorry I couldn’t stay with you any longer.
“Please give my liver to dad and save him after my death.”

A street perfomer in China got more than he bargained for when he beat a monkey with a stick for failing to ride a child’s bicycle.
The monkeys two companions came to it’s rescue, attacking the performer – while one bit his head, another snatched the stick and beat the man with it.
The dazed trainer told his audience: “They were once wild and these performances don’t always come naturally to them. They may have built up some feelings of hatred towards me.”
