The MOD has issued a series of videos warning military personnel and their families to be wary about what information they post on sites like twitter and facebook.
While acknowledging the value of such sites in maintaining contact with family and friends, the MOD reminds service personnel that criminals and terrorists also scour these sites and a careless comment or pic posted online may endanger their family or fellow troops in the field

The rules are simple – rearrange items on supermarket shelves in such a way that they spell our rude words, then post the pics on Facebook
A bit of harmless fun for those playing the game (and how many of these are the supermarket stackers themselves?) but a nightmare for store bosses trying to spot the rude words before any customer does and complain.
Millions of people worldwide are signed up to ‘social media’ sites Facebook, and Twitter.
Originally intended as a means for friends and family to keep in touch and communicate easily with one another, it did not take long for individuals and groups to realise how powerful a tool these sites could be when used for other purposes, e.g., organising and co-ordinating civil protests.
