Barwaan Kala a virually inaccessible village in the remote Kaimur hills in India, is known locally as the “village of unmarried people” with some 121 bachelors living there.
At the last election they were visited by a politician who promised them “if you elect me I’ll stay a bachelor until we get a road to your village”, but as is the way with politicians, once in office he married, forgetting the village and his promise.

The Times newspaper tells us that the cure for a low libido is to have more sex. In fact it recommends that you agree to have sex each day for a whole year, the downside is that it has to be with your partner!
