Politicians, religious leaders, and local community leaders in India have come out with some ‘corkers’ when speaking about the appallingly high incidence of sexual assaults on women
The idea that women bring rape upon themselves by wearing provocative clothing is one that is not unique to India - But the notion that eating chowmein turns men into rapists by upsetting their hormonal balance; that women using mobile/cell phones in public invite rape; or the suggestion that all a woman has to do to halt her rapist in his tracks is to call him ‘brother’, beggars belief (and yes, you guessed it, all these nonsensical views were expressed by men)

It was not just men who took to the streets to protest against President Mubarak of Egypt. Women too were there in Tahrir Square demonstrating against his rule.
They were back in Tahrir Square on Friday. This time to protest against sexual harassment.
According to a 2008 report by the Egyptian Center for Women’s Rights . . . “two-thirds of women in Egypt experienced sexual harassment on a daily basis”

A woman has alleged that a Disney employee in a Donald Duck suit grabbed her tits when she asked for an autograph.
The woman is now suing (hey, this is the USA, what else would you expect) Disney alleging she suffered “severe physical injury, emotional anguish and distress including, but not limited to post-traumatic stress disorder”
