British PM Leaves Daughter in Pub

by duncanr

Er, have you seen Nancy?

Oh dear, all these eagle-eyed bodyguards and no-one noticed (including British Prime Minister David Cameron and his wife Samantha themselves) that they had left their 8yr old daughter behind when they drove home from Sunday lunch at a pub

  1. Now I could fully understand if the President of our country left one of his kids behind, I mean there’s about 20 of them. But counting to 3 can’t be that difficult? You’re all DOOMED!!!

  3. “The spokeswoman said the Camerons take full responsibility for looking after their children and were not blaming security officers for failing to ensure that Nancy was with the party before returning to Chequers.
“They are their children and they take responsibility for them,” said the spokeswoman. “No-one is going to face disciplinary action. This was an error.” (http://tinyurl.com/c2yg6tc)

    Bollocks !!!

The wife and children of the PM are as much at risk from terrorist attack as the PM himself and one assumes are given the same degree of protection.

Let’s suppose for a moment that Nancy didn’t wander off for a pee but was abducted by a pedophile or a terrorist and none of the PM’s security entourage noticed her absence until much later when everyone was back at the house. Still expect us to believe no one would get a bollocking/face disciplinary action ?

Although just being made public now, this incident apparently happened two months ago. I would not be surprised if the security detail then has not since been replaced by some buggers that can count up to five !

    • At least the McCanns now have a viable explanation for their daughter’s disappearance.

      • Just a footnote: The Azaria Chamberlaiin case was one of the worst examples of ‘trial by media’ ever. The news footage still sticks in my mind to this day – Lindy was convicted in the court of public opinion of not looking sad enough for the cameras, which then fed into a twisted legal process which will forever be Australia’s shame.
