  1. Passwords do my head in. The latest feckin pain is when they say “it must be a password you have not used in the past twelve months”. Now for someone who uses a variety of passwords every few weeks (and sometimes days) this is impossible.
At the moment I’m locked out of icloud photos, itunes, and have only recently been readmitted to paypal.
The only thing more annoying than passwords is my little fecker of a son who roars at me “I told you you wouldn’t remember it. Why didn’t you write it down?”.

  2. WordPress wouldn’t accept my first name as a password, or any variation on it. Finally I lost my temper and tapped in “ratarse” – Bingo – I was logged in . . !

I’ve shortened it to the less offensive “ratty,” since then, but I still can’t understand why “Gertrude” wasn’t acceptable.

  3. A most excellent summary of how to get shown up for a twat by a chunk of uncaring, unfeeling corporate software. I’m 100% with you, except for this business of shoving a quantity of boiled cabbage up a donkey. Frankly such idiotic behaviour sickens me – it’s no wonder that WordPress wouldn’t admit you.
