You’re Doing It Wrong

by duncanr

bloody pedestrian180if one should inadvertently – when behind the wheel of a car – collide with a pedestrian, one should stop immediately, call the emergency services, and render what care one can to the injured person while waiting for an ambulance to arrive

one should NOT speed off, trying to put as much distance as possible between yourself and the road accident victim

if that is your intention, however, it is self-defeating to drive off with the injured person sticking out the windscreen of your car – that is a detail folk tend to notice, especially cops –

just saying !

  1. Does that apply to people who fall off their bicycles in front of your car, hmm ?

  2. that depends

the aged beardy cyclist clad in baggy joggers or trousers tucked into their socks, and wi’ a cloth cap protecting their baldy heid, is becoming a rare site on our roads

a dying breed, they are urgently in need of preservation lest they become extinct

if you run across one of these, you should immediately convey them to the nearest pub and revive them with some ale or strong spirits, and samosas

as for the invasive modern species of cyclists infesting our roads with their body clinging lycra and helmets, who ignore the highway code and waltz through red lights, these poncy wankers are fair game – good hunting !

  3. Has there been even one instance in living memory, where a cyclist has shown mercy and compassion to a driver who’s fallen off his car in front of them??? Hmmmm??? What’s good for the goose, is good for the gander, I say!
