This doesn’t bode well for the hiking season

by allthoughtswork

I managed to hike through many years without a single bite, then I was vigorously and maliciously snacked upon last Monday. Bastards got me twice on the knuckles when I raised my binoculars to look at something on the trail. And this was after spraying myself from head to toe with 40% DEET.

Currently pricing tickets to Antarctica.

  1. Wow! No bites? We typically return home covered in mosquito bites. Maybe they just love the Midwest! I know whenever we hike or camp in the Smoky Mountains, we never even see mosquitos. We might have to start traveling further, because two bites sounds like paradise! Haha. 🙂
