Make the little bastards work for it

by allthoughtswork

I stopped hanging bird feeders a long time ago due to these pudgy little thieves siphoning off bags and bags of seed from the bird population and my wallet on a monthly basis.

I thought I was being clever by sticking to just hummingbird feeders but I found claw marks up a fence and an empty sugar water dispenser swinging back and forth from it’s hook one morning.

Now everything hangs strategically from smooth wire under the house eaves. Right where the ants like it. (sigh)

PS: It’s hysterical when foreigners try to say “squirrel.”
