Pick one:

It looks more like a sport protein bar.

It sounds more like a sport protein bar.

It removes the clear candy association our brains have made with the name Snickers for nearly 90 years.

(But it still has less sugar than a sport protein bar.)

Here in the States, ol’ Snickey has been quietly pulling the classic health marketing switcheroo of churning out candy bar after candy bar with a spiffy new label prominently featuring the one word that somehow magically neutralizes toxic amounts of sugar, hydrogenated oils, and cheap fillers:

P-R-O-T-E-I-N.

  1. I just thought of a fantastic game we could play: Name That Crap

The ingredients of candy bars and sport protein bars are printed on little cards and the product name is printed on the reverse side. You try to guess which one is “healthy” and which one is crap before turning it over to discover your colon’s fate.

The winners are the ones who figure out it’s a losing game.
