Portland, Oregon, broke a heat record yesterday

Yup, we cleared 100° F (37.7° C) on July 26 for the first time in 22 years. Well, the Portland International Airport did, that’s where they take the official reading. The reading in my backyard was somewhere between Damn! and Areyoufuckingkiddingme? but it’s been higher.

All this must have made the riots downtown extra special; I hear tear gas gets particularly delicious when it mixes with sweat. FYI, they aren’t just gassing mayors, moms, dads, and grannies now, they’ve branched out into veterans, too. Proof positive the Trump administration doesn’t discriminate.
