Brilliant and scorching documentary: That Sugar Film

by allthoughtswork

Finally found this online for free (at least in the U.S.). Anyone who eats food should watch this, twice.

It’s rife with British celebrity cameos, eye-rolling humor, engaging special effects, and the most mind-blowing game of sugary hide-and-go-seek you’ll ever play in the natural foods section of your grocery store. Dude eat’s “health food” and blows up like an American in a matter of months.

And the sweet stuff is just the tip of the death iceberg….

The sugar industry? Not so sweet

by allthoughtswork

Regulated, my ass. The sugar industry is just a legalized cocaine cartel allowed to market to children. Makin’ America great again.

PS: Those fruit smoothies you’re slurping down aren’t the Get Out of Jail Free Cards you think they are, they’re actually worse. Your liver has approved this message.

Half of me is wondering who has this kinda time….

by allthoughtswork

…the other half is vigorously overlooking the fact that I watched this all the way through and then more just like it.

Pro Tip: Food doesn’t have ingredients. Food is ingredients. Nature doesn’t print anything on its packaging because it doesn’t need to. Now, go make lunch.

FYI: Stevia isn’t artificial, it’s as real as a mint leaf. You can steep dried stevia in hot water and get the goodies without any further molestation. Let’s see beets do that.
