well, seems that advice is right after all – coffee (some brands, anyway) will, apparently, keep you up all night –

A newsagent in Manchester was robbed of cigarettes and tobacco by a cocky crook drinking a cup of black coffee (no news as to how many sugars in the cup) and his accomplice
