Iran Tackles Rogue Camels

by duncanr

licenced-camelfolk in Iran are seriously getting the hump over the number of camel-related traffic accidents causing damage to their vehicles, and property

that would be bad enough in itself – what makes it worse is that the buggers culprits usually run off and there is no way to identify the camel or its owner in order to beat the shit out of them seek revenge compensation

fortunately, Mohammad-Sharif Khaleqinia, the secretary of Iranian Central Task Force to Combat the Smuggling of Commodities and Currency in Sistan and Baluchestan Province has a scheme to tackle the problem . . .

Iranian Man to be Hanged Twice

by duncanr

hanging manthe old adage – if at first you don’t succeed, try again – seems pretty apt where Alireza M is concerned

the 37 year old Iranian was sentenced to death for drug offences

he was hanged in Bojnourd prison in north-east Iran last week and pronounced dead by a doctor at the scene

when his family went to collect his body, however, he was found to be still breathing

he is now being treated in hospital while the authorities wait for doctors to advice when he will be fit enough to be hanged again, and again, and again until the bugger is dead

P.S. wonder how many of that doctor’s patients have been buried while still alive ?

Iran’s Female Ninja

by duncanr

The laws and official practices of Iran place enormous restrictions on its women. They are considered inferior to men in almost all legal matters, especially family laws such as marriage or child custody, and their testimony is officially equal to half of a man’s. Clothing restrictions and fierce segregation laws marginalize women in the public sector, making participation in society arduous and painful. Those who try anyway are often singled out for harassment and punishment (

Speaking personally, I wouldn’t fancy my chances of trying to harass these particular Iranian women !!!
