F*** This S***! (A List of Things I’ve Learned To Do)

by UniSciKill

For education and job security, you have to be willing to…

1) Be insulted.

2) Talk respectfully to people who just insulted you.

3) Be questioned about everything you do or say repeatedly.

4) Answer questions with complete confidence or say, “I don’t know” over and over until you’ve satisfied the educators’/supervisor’s sick, twisted, and know-it-all egos.

UK Govt Advises Terminally Ill to get a Job

by duncanr

They may be dying but that’s no excuse for not working. At least that appears to be the view of the UK Government

Over 1,000 terminally ill people with less than 6 months to live have been sent letters by the Works & Pensions Dept encouraging them to stop lying around feeling sorry for themselves but to get off their arse and get themselves a job

You can volunteer to work with a specialist personal adviser or job broker who will support and encourage you to carry out reasonable steps to manage your illness or disability and undertake relevant activity which will help you move towards work.”

When challengesd about the letters, a spokesperson for the Dept of Works & Pensions said – it would be wrong not to give those with a terminal illness the same opportunities as others.
