During a Springfield City Council public hearing, back in August, on amending the city’s nondiscrimination ordinance to include sexual orientation and gender identity protections, Rev. Phil Snider of the Brentwood Christian Church lashed out at the council for “inviting the judgement of God upon our land” by making “special rights for gays and lesbians.” (http://tinyurl.com/9x55s33)
Or did he?
He has a lot of money.
So much so, he can afford to offer a $65 million (£45.2 million) ‘dowry’ to the man who can win the heart of his daughter, Gigi.
Only one problem – (No, she’s not an ugly bint) – she’s already married.
Gigi is a lesbian and married her female partner of 7 yrs earlier this year in France
Hhmm, 2 women is a problem?
A threesome and £4.2 million to boot?
Excuse me while I check the flights to Hong Kong !

Some people like oral sex, some don’t. A word of warning though – If you live in (or are visiting) Malaysia, and you belong to the former category, you might want to bear in mind that oral sex carries certain risks . . .
Malaysia frowns on oral and gay sex, describing them as against the order of nature. Under civil law, ‘offenders’, both male and female, can be jailed for up to 20 years, caned or fined. (http://tinyurl.com/9mr2wm7)
Scotland looks set to be the 1st of the countries that together make up the UK to legalise marriage between same-sex couples – http://tinyurl.com/c2pswp5
Opposition to such marriages is generally on religious grounds – that only a marriage between a man and a woman is acceptable in the eyes of God
Wait, that’s not quite true – the Catholic Church recognizes marriage between women and mystical beings. Nuns are often referred to as ‘brides of christ’ and many wear a gold band similar to a wedding ring to symbolise that holy union. No doubt this is a blasphemous thought but if women (nuns) forego earthly pleasures to devote themselves to the service of God why are not men (priests) who do likewise not viewed as husbands of Christ?
A supporter of Pastor Charles L. Worley – of Providence Road Baptist Church in North Carolina – is challenged about his ‘final solution’ to the ‘problem’ of gays and lesbians in the USA, i.e., round them up, imprison them behind an electrified fence and wait for them to die out – see http://tinyurl.com/d8woxtc
It is painful to watch her inability to grasp the logical consequences that flow from the Pastor’s position or to understand the basic fallacy at the heart of his proposal to eliminate gays and lesbians from society, i.e., the gays and lesbians that die inside this electrified pen would be replaced by more gays and lesbians born to heterosexual couples living outside the fence. From her facial expression at the end of the interview it is clear she knows she has not come across well and regrets agreeing to talk to the reporter !
This Universal Love is held to be the ultimate perfection of the human spirit, because it is said to both glorify and reflect the nature of God [my emphasis] -see http://tinyurl.com/yewhny
Hhmmm, perhaps the Rev. Marcel Guarnizo’s superiors in the Catholic Church should give his cassock a tug and whisper a few words in his hear ?

An inspiring, beautiful, and brave speech by a High School student, Kayla Kearney, who chose to ‘come out’ at a school Assembly.
