Brummies Steal Baby Jesus

Christmas is just a few weeks away now and up and down the land schoolkids are busy rehearsing their nativity plays and parents are looking forward to the annual unintentionally funny dramas involving missed cues, fluffed lines, malfunctioning props/scenery, tears, tantrums, and fisticuffs

Elsewhere, churches and stores are busy setting up their nativity displays. It’s a familiar sight – proud parents Mary and Joseph gazing down on the baby Jesus while wise men bearing Xmas pressies and bemused livestock look on. Except, that is, in Birmingham where the centre of attention at the city centre’s nativity display is a wee garden gnome !
