New for Old : Oddbins Recycling Wine Bottles

‘Oddbins’, the UK wine and alcohol chain store has a surprise for customers returning empty wine bottles.

At this bottle bank in central London, folk ‘depositing’ empty bottles were given a gift-wrapped bottle of Oddbins Errazuriz Cabernet Sauvignon in return

The company plans to place the bins outside their stores around the country in the hope that folk will be encouraged to recycle their empties in the hope of receiving a refill

Crap Roof Tiles

I’m all for conserving energy. In fact, I’m known for it.

There goes that lazy bugger, Robertson‘, folk cry when I walk down the street

And I’m well in to recycling things to save the environment. Every 2nd Wed I put my green ‘bottle’ bin out for the council to collect and recycle. Viewing my neighbours’ pathetic bins with just a smattering of bottles between them, I feel a sense of pride and achievement as I totter down the drive carrying my own overflowing bin – knowing that I am making a greater effort to save the environment than they are !

Such prideful thoughts are sinful of course so I generally . . .
