Let this be a lesson to you, folks – when travelling in a ski lift, never try to throw a snowball at your mates in the chair ahead of you. Your forward momentum and shift of balance will topple you out of the chair
That’s what happened to this 17 yr old kid. He managed to hang on for a while before falling 45 ft to the ground below. Fortunately the snow cushioned his fall and after a period of observation in hospital he is back home, unhurt

Policewoman Assaulted with Snowball
Derby police arrested a man and charged him with assault for throwing a snowball at a policewoman.
Magistrates, however, took a less serious view of the incident and adjourned the case against 31 yr old Dean Smith – who throw the snowball ‘for a bit of fun’ whilst out shopping with his fiance and stepson – for 2 weeks to give the Crown Prosecution Service time to reconsider whether . . .
